Since this quote is a bit out of context, I want to clarify this statement 
below.  "Accepted" generally means that the committers won't block your changes 
based on concept.  Accepted does *not* mean:

* that someone else will do the work for you
* if a patch is provided, it will meet all of the requirements necessary to 
merge with the trunk

I think we're talking about a process here, so the above caveats won't 
necessarily apply.  I just want to help preempt any confusion around this 
policy.
