Hi, Well, that is right! I also have Master's Degree in Computer Science (Warsaw University), about 12(?) years of experience [of course some of this part time, during my studies :-)] in designing/engineering various software. I am worried about providing a commercially supported version of Matterhorn. Most urgent task: integrate our products with Matterhorn Server. I want to do it right. Since I am invited, I will try to attend the video-conference meeting. So far I introduced myself as an engineer developing CA - but I think I only send email to Michelle. BTW: I think there is no "Matterhorn Say Hello" thread. We could start a thread saying, hello: I am... and so on. :-) But there must be a separate link to this thread, next to the rules of using MH mailing list. -Pawel

Pawel is one of the Senior Engineers on the programming staff at NCast Corporation. He has been with the company a very long time and made numerous contributions to our products, including Linux and Windows drivers for our cards, firmware development and development of the user interface. Right now Pawel is tasked with provisioning the Matterhorn Capture API into our line of encoders, as part of NCast's affiliation with the Matterhorn project and its move to provide a commercially supported version of Matterhorn. I hope that explains why there are so many questions! Pawel is building the best capture agent you'll see with Matterhorn. I really appreciate this. Thanks! But I may have missed it, but have you introduced yourself on the list. I would be really interested to get to know why are you so interested in Matterhorn and what your background is. Maybe you have time and you are interested to join one of the weekly videoconference meetings on Adobe Connect (http://ado.uvigo.es/opencast) on tuesdays 8am PST (17:00 CEST)? (should work even with IE 7 if you have a recent Adobe Flash installed ;-) ) Rüdiger -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ Matterhorn-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opencastproject.org/mailman/listinfo/matterhorn-users
