Awesome, so it's communicating with the core at least. > Whenever I schedule a recording it fails at the start time with this error: > > WARNING : Recording may have failed to start or ingest! > It seems the core system did not receive proper status updates > from the Capture Agent that should have conducted this recording. How far into the future are you scheduling the events? If your polling time is 5 minutes and you schedule an event 4 minutes into the future then the device definitely won't pick it up :) If you're scheduling it far enough into the future, try rebooting the device. I've seen rare instances where the scheduling tool dies without warning, which would lead to this kind of situation. > The sevrer console keeps repeating: > > Warn (AgentImpl:278) - Null friendly name list for > agent demo_capture_agent. Capabilities filtering aborted This is normal until the agent manages to push its configuration to the core. > I've reduced the Calendar Polling Interval to 2 on the device. > > Should I reduce Ingest Interval (in minutes) as well? Any ideas please? Nope, the ingest interval doesn't have anything to do with events starting. Ensure you're scheduling things 3 minutes or more into the future, and if that still doesn't work restart. I'm still trying to track down why that scheduling script is dying, but I can't reproduce it at all and there are no logs of the event!
