Sorry to revisit an old thread, but I missed it until today... In terms of video tracking aka Interactive Region of Interest, ClassX [1] developed at Stanford delivers with the same kind of technology as the "GaliTracker" but it has been "open sourced" [2], which means the advanced detection algorhitms are available to Matterhorn.
Thus I'd suggest to anybody interested in integrating such features with Matterhorn to take a look at ClassX.
