The issue with 1.2 is that it is, at this point, quite old.  The 3rd
party scripts have not been updated for quite some time, and since they
are fetching dependencies from 3rd party servers we have little control
over how reliably they can be retrieved.

I have tested 1.2.0 and 1.2.x, and neither script can download all of
its dependencies at this point.  My recommendation is to switch to
1.3.1, which means you will have an upgrade path to newer versions of
Matterhorn, and will be able to build all of Matterhorn's dependencies
using the scripts.
