In this case Capture Agent retrieves administrator privileges, and has an option to update series. I think better approach would be to just implement call to series/appropriate REST endpoint from Capture Agent - and edit the series, rather than updating ingest endpoint. (then this would be a device that is providing CA capability & an administration tool) Well - as long it's clear what must be provided by Capture Agent it's all fine with me. I like it. If somebody is using this feature, then why not? I would not allow capture agent to edit series/dublincore on the server using ingest endpoint. On the server site I would store it as series/dublincore-proposal-from-the-agent in case it differs or ignore it, unless there are no appropriate series, and there is no seriesid in the mediapackage - then --- I would create new one. But it's all up to people who are much more in MH server design than I am right now :-) I do not know how the server is used. _______________________________________________ Matterhorn mailing list [email protected] http://lists.opencastproject.org/mailman/listinfo/matterhorn To unsubscribe please email [email protected] _______________________________________________
