Fred, Something that loads from the web is exactly what I'm interested in, but I'm a bit concerned about the throughput that is available - what kind of FPS are you able to record at? My understanding is that you are pushing raw frames across the network then using some special sauce to turn them into a video.
Do you have demos of some desktop stuff recorded? Does this method record the desktop, or just slides loaded into BBB? I don't need to bring in remote participants atm, just need to record whatever the instructor is doing on their laptop (simulations, web surfing, etc.). Excited that BBB might work, I'd be interested in hearing success stories from folks who might have deployed it for lecture capture purposes...
