Sorry for the delayed answer. Your comment has sparked discussions in our 
little gardening group and we are considering alternatives to the archival 
process. However, in order to better understand your concerns, could you 
explain what documentation you expect to be relevant after a year of 
non-editing? Our idea was that these "outdated" (assumption!) documents are 
partially to blame for the confusion. But if you can highlight some parts of 
the wiki where such documents still are relevant, this would certainly help us 
better understand the situation and choose instruments accordingly. We 
certainly don't want to further decrease the number of available relevant 
resources in this...
