I first downloaded Mauve 2.4 in mid-Dec. and it worked fine (Windows 7 Pro,
64 bit). Didn't try to use it again until a few weeks ago and just will not
work. Tried some a couple of gbk and a couple of fas files. I can look at
old alignments on 2.4.0 that were done in 2.3.1.

During the time I wasn't using it I think I updated Java but that was about
it. The same files worked on another computer running XP and Mauve 2.3.1.
At a lose and NOT computer savvy.
