Hello Christian, I didn't understood that. If the data and log volumes are still there and no backup is available, one can do the following:
1.) Create a new database with the same parameters as the old one. Especially the number and sizes of data and log volumes should match the old database. 2.) Stop the new database. 3.) Substitute the data and log volumes of the new database with the corresponding data and log volumes from the old database. 4.) Restart the new database with the old volumes. As far as I have understood, the data and log volumes weren't lost. The OP is apparently looking for a step by step guide how he can re-use the existing volumes with a new DB instance without losing the database contents.
