Hi Daniel,

I did

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin> ./dbmcli -d INTRANET ... db_stop
OK
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin> ./dbmcli -d INTRANET ... db_clear
OK
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin> ./dbmcli -d INTRANET ... db_start
ERR
-24994,ERR_RTE: runtime environment error
1,Check knldiag! Kernel died before reaching COLD state

knldiag and knldiag.err say:

2003-12-11 08:43:57 28987 ERR 11309 IPC create_fifo:
'/usr/spool/sql/fifo//pipecheck_INTRANET' chown error, Operation not

/usr/spool/sql/fifo//pipecheck_INTRANET failed:Operation not permitted

and in this folder there ist ...

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/spool/sql/fifo> ls -l
insgesamt 0
-rw-rw-rw- 1 sapdb root 0 2003-12-11 08:43 ckeckdone_INTRANET

... not much.
