Hi,
I am looking for information on proper backup
procedures/practices for full backups and log backups. My initial
thoughts, and I've already done this for the full backups, is to create
Windows scripts that executes different backup media depending on the
day and time of day. I'm looking to do something similar for the logs.
I'd like to backup the logs every 10 minutes and create full backups
twice daily. I'm thinking I can generate media sets on the fly based on
the time of day to assure unique media sets, and then delete them when
complete. Does this sound feasible? Is there a better way? I'm very
new to SAPdb and want to make sure I'm not reinventing the wheel here;
I'm thinking there has got to be a better way.
