Hi, Is there a good and complete howto available about creating and restoring a backup of a maxdb? I used the documentation (Backup and recovery of maxdb using the CLI) but as soon as you end up with an error the documentation is no longer any help.
I already had different errors always telling me something different varying from -126,Databackup missing (Backuphistory lost) -71,connection broken server state 6 I just want to create 1 full backup on the beginning of the week , an incremental every hour + logbackup The incremental + full works but the log is giving me a headache. Is there a way to find out which is the correct LOG that you should start with when recovering? recover_start ARCH LOG <start> recover_replace ARCH /var/maxdb/logs/ xxxx ... Is it the first log that was created after the last complete full backup?
