That was for the current disk image, but I've been experimenting and 
learning more about virtual appliances, did as you mentioned and exported a 
better image as an appliance file, so thanks for the info.

The new image can be found at the bottom of the download section of the 
website or by this direct link: 
http://www.mayan-edms.com/downloads/Mayan%20EDMS%20v0.13.ova.

The final file came much smaller too: 700MB uncompressed appliance image 
vs. 1GB compressed disk image, and setting it up is a breeze, just "import 
appliance" and boot it up.  There is also a small update and the IP address 
is now shown on the login prompt so no longer is login on needed to get the 
IP address of the appliance.
