I've started including comments for translators directly into the code ( https://gitlab.com/mayan-edms/mayan-edms/blob/development/mayan/apps/document_states/permissions.py#L21) as per Django's documentation on the topic. These comments are based on your work and the discussions that happened in Transifex.
