Meh, you only need one machine, it just needs a decent sized /usr/local ...

chansen vanished a few months back and we've been unable to get in touch with 
him since. Knowing very little about that layer of things I couldn't tell you 
what the current status is, you'd probably be better off asking on #catalyst-dev
