Hi Christian!

It sounds like a nice Idea, but don't forget that everyone who is 
invited to the shared folder has write rights and there is no way to set 
a users permissions to read only.
So in the worst case, someone could sneak harming plugins into 
everyone's plugin folder.

Another (cheap) solution for this would be a SVN Repo. It wouldnt be a 
perfect solution, but every user may easily update to the latest plugins 
by just doing an update.
And since SVN supports setting access rights, you wouldnt have the same 
problem as with dropbox.
