I have this: CHARMAP="UTF-8" CODESET="Lat15" FONTFACE="Terminus" FONTSIZE="16x32" VIDEOMODE=vga # that's being ignored now with nouveau driver, or maybe outdated However it diint help with the very highly resoluted framebuffer - still microscopic. Although it works well for fbterm -s. I think this Eizo monitor, although not huge, has a lot pixels. I have bought it because of that, to have a very sharp clear picture. Felix Miata: > OTOH, if console-setup was sophisticated enough to offer fonts from which to > select, I'd use it. It offers a kind of ncurses-selector (?) but only very few fonts for console. I have read somewhere that we could put things like this into that file: FONT='lat9w-08.psf.gz brl-8x8.psf' which should be a braille font. But i never tried. -- mc mailing list [email protected] https://lists.midnight-commander.org/mailman/listinfo/mc
