Dear MCB Undergraduates,

After 22 years of working with undergraduates on this campus, Lynne
La Pointe has retired. December 23 was her last day of work. I know
that she had informed many of you over the past couple of months
about her plans to retire, but many of you did not know.

Those of you who have had the privilege of being advised by her
during your years as an undergraduate know what a strong advocate for
students she has always been. We will miss her consistency,
equanimity and good will in the office.

If you were in the habit of e-mailing Lynne directly, please begin to
use our general email address, which is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Lauri,
Jenny & I check this email daily and will get back to you within 1
business day. We're in the process of interviewing candidates for the
job so will let you know when we've hired a new advisor for the
office.

Happy New Year to all of you and see you in a couple of weeks.

Sincerely,
Anne
