I am helping a local history museum develop an exhibition of portraits
and oral histories. Oral histories are digitally recorded and we have
discussed including an audio component consisting of either podcast or a
cell phone 'guide'.
The museum has little in the way of resources and technology and they
are leaning towards the cell phone method (they are also anticipating an
audience which is more likely to have cell phones than ipods). Are there
any notable pitfalls or problems with cell phone guides....or is there a
strong preference to use podcasting?
Thanks,
