Yes, I would like to hear what others think as well.

I wouldnt worry about the "archival" issue, unless you are truly all  
set up to produce those archival prints.  Whether you watchdog the  
papers and ink yourself or have someone on W17th print them for you,  
it may be an expense with little return on investment.

If you use premium glossy (instead of a semi-matte) you may be happy  
with the detail that will be shown.  Recently, we produced glossy  
prints -including raking light shots - for a paper conservator.  It  
was the first time using digital technology for these conservators  
and they were happy with the results we provided for them.
