Personally, I prefer using MD2 over any of the other Amiga options out there.
It's fast, and efficient - my MD2 database has around 18,000 emails in it. YAM
was crawling when I started using MD2 originally (over 18 months ago, I think),
and that was before I signed up for a ton of mailing lists.

There's pretty frequent updates to it when neccessary. It's basically sort of a
constant development, and when those developments are stable enough, it's
released.
Just a suggestion, but why not download it and try it out? :) There's a pretty
complete readme file included in all VaporWare archives, so you should be able
to get an idea from that of how well-supported the program is.
