I think what Gaz was saying was that there are no Discmans which are 8.5 cm
wide, so there is no point using smaller CDs.

But I agree with the original poster. No matter how awkward and expensive
they are, 8cm CDs are cool. :-)

As for this argument about copy protected CDs... While I am with you guys
all the way- it clearly stinks- it could have an upside... Which digital
format would you choose for prerecorded material in such a world? Can you
say MD?
