I have a sound card with an optical output (Guillemot maxi sound
fortissimo).
I have connected the digital out of my CDROM to the SPDIF_IN on the
sound card, and everything works, I get the track marks, etc....
I just want to know if there is a difference of quality of the digital
out between different CDROMs, because my CDROM is a 8X Goldstar
(GCD-R580B) and perhaps it would be better to buy a new one :)
