Not quite true, Rick. This is admittedly semantics here ;-)  but "pirate" 
has two definitions (even in my old Webster's dictionary): 1) to steal or 
take something that doesn't belong to you; 2) to reproduce or distribute 
something without permission.

So *technically* if you copy a CD you don't own, both you and the owner 
of the CD are "pirating" because you're taking something you don't own 
and the owner of the CD is distributing it without permission <grin>
