I currently use multiple addaptors for mine, from my sony cd-walkman (4.5v
500ma), from my casio HPC (5v 2a), and from my casio digital camera (6v
1.5a). Yes I live dangerously, but screw it they all are working sharing
each others addaptors.

The AC Adaptor burnt out on me.
I said, no problem go to the local
electronics store, spend 12 dollars and
get another.
Since then I have searched all over NYC
and all over the US via the internet and
no one carries a 5v/800ma AC adaptor.
They have every voltage EXCEPT
the one I need.
I called Sharp and they sent me to their
distributor who sells the thing for $50
plus s/h. A real rip-off.
I am SO irritated about this because these
things sell for $12 for every other voltage.
I spoke to someone at one of the Minidisc
companies...and he told me off the record
that a 4.5 voltage adaptor will work just
fine.
Know anything about this?
Any other suggestions?
