OK, so PXE is enabled as well as added to the boot order menu (check). Also make sure secure boot is disabled.
According to some docs from Dell (KACE) you need the A12 BIOS version for PXE boot, what version do you have? / Johan -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Marcum, John Sent: den 7 juni 2013 17:28 To: [email protected] Subject: [MDT-OSD] RE: Dell 7010 PXE I may be dumb but I'm not that dumb! Yes, when I PXE boot the machine it sits waiting for an IP for a while then it says no DHCP offer received. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Johan Arwidmark Sent: Friday, June 07, 2013 10:26 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MDT-OSD] RE: Dell 7010 PXE Did you enable PXE in BIOS? / Johan -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Marcum, John Sent: den 7 juni 2013 10:18 To: [email protected] Subject: [MDT-OSD] Dell 7010 PXE We have a bunch of new Dell 7010 desktops. They will not PXE boot, don't get an IP address at all. I can plug a Dell GX620 into the same port and it does PXE. I've updated to the latest BIOS on the 7010. Is anyone else having this problem? The network guy watched the traffic and he doesn't even see the machines send a DHCP request. Typos courtesy of Apple.
