For me it doesn’t seem to be a timing issue. It doesn’t detect the adapter at all. I have to unplug and plug it back in (sometimes several times) before I can see the network adapter show up after a reboot.

Its easy to test, build a machine, after it completes the setup windows and configmgr step and reboots into Windows, hit F8 and see if you get an IP. Wait 2-3 minutes and check again if you don’t. The issue is the NIC doesn’t initialize in time after that first reboot into Windows. Driver is inbox and just works with WinPE. I successfully imaged a Dell Venue tablet without any issues and thought I’d be able to use it on our Thinkpad Yoga’s when we got them in. Well they’re in and while it works ok at the start of the deployment it seems to lose it when you reboot. The deployment gets stuck saying it can’t connect to deployment share after the first reboot. Thoughts?
