MediaWiki is designed primarily for situations where reads are available to all, and writes are restricted; sometimes with a requirement to log in before reading. Other configurations with multiple visibility levels are possible, especially with some unofficial plugins, but we offer no guarantee that they will work reliably, since the system's base architecture isn't designed for it. It's up to you whether that's an acceptable risk for your usage and your data. - -- brion -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.8 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkklx9kACgkQwRnhpk1wk45cAgCgp8gjxK08sS79X1Eyrw+JDEQt 82YAn2R0GacZOefOUzbHezLpKR8rD4UP =VKV/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ MediaWiki-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/mediawiki-l
