We have drugs attached with CDS's, such as those for pain/fever/blood
pressure meds/dig/epidurals/PCAs.  The CDS's provide a more complete
picture and you can see the information in one place.  We have also
attached lab queries to some drugs so the lab values automatically show
up prior to administration.  For example, a potassium level will appear
when a diuretic is administered.

Absolutely - pulse for Dig, inject site for SQ, IV rate changes for
large volume IV's, etc.  I have attached very involved CD's for RT to
document their "stuff" on the eMAR as well.  This is one of the "win
categories" for Nursing - to be able to document in one place...
