Berkshire Health Systems, located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in beautiful Berkshire County, seeks candidates for the position of Director of Information Services.  This is an excellent career opportunity for someone seeking challenge and a collaborative work environment.

 

The ideal candidate will provide direction, leadership and hands on experience in the implementation, support and ongoing maintenance of BHS applications, data center and network infrastructure resources. 

 

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

 

  • B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems or related field, with demonstrated excellence in research, analysis and problem-solving skills. Experience with the Meditech Client Server System a plus.

 

  • Minimum of eight years experience in coordination, management and implementation of healthcare/business applications, data center management and network/security management.

 

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

 

  • Demonstrated creativity in making changes that result in improved efficiency and communication through software program design.

 

  • Ability to lead change process and to promote excellent communication with stake holders.

 

  • Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to lead and manage projects.
