In our MIS Insurance dictionary we have had some insurance address changes. When a patient is registered the registration staff copy from Demo Recall. The problem is that Demo Recall does not contain the new insurance address. Meditech is recommending that we manually go into every account that has these insurance mnemonics to update Demo Recall with the new address. This will ensure new registrations will have the correct insurance when it is copied from Demo Recall. We also will have to do this same manual process in BAR to correct the current accounts with the old insurance address. Meditech says there is no automatic routine to update insurance address changes. Has anyone come up with an automated way to get insurance address changes into Demo Recall and BAR?
