My recollection is that it will pull the first field in
the Route of Admin on page 1 of the Drug Dictionary which is alphabetical.
This has been a problem for some time now with no solution that I've
seen...

Has anyone seen this problem and have a solution?
When pulling a stat med from pyxis (such as demerol) the med goes to the
emar/bmv screen as a STK/MED.
The route of administration that pulls from the drug dictionary defaults in
and the user is unable to change it.
The problem is if the Demerol is pulled out (in a tubex) to be given IV,
but IM defaults in, the user must select an IM site when it was actually given
IV. Any help would be appreciated.
