We are using the status board and did try to
give it to the physicians to use. They did not like it because they did
have to build their own list or they could click on attending physician and they
it sorts the patients by attending but if their name is Wilson they are at the
bottom of the list. So we went to Meditech and asked for a custom of the
status board and were denied it so now we are going to be getting the POM module
so that we can get them the dashboard that they want .

Our Administration would like us to provide some sort of desktop for the
physicians. I know that in the POM module, there is a Physician
Dashboard that shows their patients, etc. We do not have POM and I don't
forsee us purchasing it for quite a while. I had thought about the
Nursing Status Board and trying to build one for physicians, but they would
have to add their patients, right? We aren't using the status
board yet so I'm a little unsure of how it works. Anyway, to make a long
story longer, what are other people doing to provide docs with some sort of
desktop? Any ideas would be appreciated.
