Hi Joni, We've been with Valco for a couple years now. We have PR and Business Office scanning. 1. As far as PCI and categories, one of our main reasons for scanning was to capture the referral/order and import it to PCI. So we have categorized all referrals into one category called Physician Referral. All other documents scanned in ADM such as Photo ID, Ins Cards are in a category called Registration. 2. We just started using the Visioneer XP300 as well as the XP200 and they are working well for us. We've only been using them for about 2-3 months so I don't have any long term reliability experiences to give you. 3. I prefer to use the built in viewer that comes with Meditech(Magic). It works pretty well and there's no additional install to do unlike if you used Viewer. As far as I know the only way to get the built in viewer with Meditech is to use version 3.26P or the 4.18P. A few questions for anyone out there using Valco. 1. PCI--Any advice on how to set up categories, subcategories and form id's. Best practice, lessons learned, etc. 2. Anyone using the xp300 small scanner and are they pretty reliable for various types of scanning? 3. Viewer: For PCI-do you use the PCI viewer or the Valco viewer. Pros/Cons?
