Hi All, A couple of months ago, FDB hosted a Webex to talk about this product. Although they market this as saving time in building order strings, this is a separate product that you use to place your orders. This does NOT use Meditech's POM application. In fact, it wasn't fully developed at the time of the Webex and they still were hoping to present this to Meditech in hopes that they may use it. I was very disappointed as I thought is was going to save us time and money in building POM. Instead you have to purchase a separate product that your physicians will use. If I remember correctly, licensing is done on a per physician basis. Perhaps this is different than what's being presented now but as of a couple of months ago, this is what we found. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Does anyone have information or experience using First Data Bank to help with building the POM med order strings? We are C/S 5.5.2. FDB is presenting at MUSE and claims they can save 1000 hours in time spent building order strings, etc. Any of you using any other resources for building POM PHA data strings? Thanks in advance, Judy _______________________________________________ meditech-l mailing list [email protected] http://mtusers.com/mailman/listinfo/meditech-l __________________________________________________________ Message transport security by GatewayDefender.com 9:26:56 AM ET - 6/2/2006 _______________________________________________ meditech-l mailing list [email protected] http://mtusers.com/mailman/listinfo/meditech-l _______________________________________________ meditech-l mailing list [email protected] http://mtusers.com/mailman/listinfo/meditech-l
