We are currently using a paper form for
assessing patient need for pneumonia and flu vaccinations. Would like to
document in Meditech. We do not use POM or eMAR at this time. How
can I have the nurse document the assessment in MT and automatically send this
as an order to pharmacy? Our policy is such that if the patient meets the
criteria and there are no contraindications the physicians order is not needed.
