Hello Listers, I was wondering if anyone in the clinics out there uses an encounter through PRV or Departmental to document Blood Pressure screenings? We are a Magic 5.4 site that does NOT use MPM or NUR in the clinic. I am curious as to how others may be doing this and if they would be willing to share pearls of wisdom? We do not want to associate it with a charge, and would like to trend the BP's over time if necessary. Thoughts are using an Administrative Data Screen through OE, a CDS in Dept., a nurses note created in Dept., or a CDS in PRV. This would be separate from the Visit Intake CDS we currently use for regular visits. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks! Wendy A.
