-Does your hospital allow technicians to enter unverified medication orders
that are then verified by a pharmacist?
-If so, what is the work flow, i.e., what happens when an allergy is flagged or
a drug interaction warning appears?
-Are techs allows to enter all types of orders -TPNs, chemos, etc?
-Have you found this to be an efficient method of med order entry, or is it
just as fast for a pharmacist to enter the orders from scratch?
-Do you use this as a training tool for new pharmacists, teaching them order
entry techniques?
-Have you tried this process and discontinued? If so, for what reasons?

I have been asked to send this to the list serve for one of my pharmacist.
