JOB SUMMARY:
Installs and operates the hospital information system by
coordinating and implementing various financial and clinical projects and
Meditech modules. Supports both
clinical and financial departments with automation, enhancements, custom
programming, and training needs.
Serves as a technical resource to users, supporting the daily operations
of PCs, networks and terminals.
Serves as a technicial and logistical resource to others on the IS
staff. Provides on-call
coverage as needed.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or a financial related field with a minor in computer science or
information systems and 3-6 years experience in project management, networking,
programming, and microcomputers.
One year experience with developing and delivering training programs
preferred.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS
OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and
meet deadlines. Excellent oral and
written communication skills. Knowledge of Meditech systems, Windows
NT, microcomputers, and programming.

Does anyone out there have a job description for an analyst who is also able
to do hardware work? Also a job description for a Meditech trainer. I do not
now if any other sites have someone who just knows the modules and helps
