Terry,
If your scanners don't support the barcodes that the drug manufacturers
use, you have 2 choices - you either get different scanners or you
repackage the offending items.  In the pharmacy, I use a Metrologic
MS1690 that will read all but a very small number of our barcodes.

We are working on the implementation of BMV.  I was wondering what

facilities are doing to compensate for the unsupported barcode formats

as RS Stacked and UPC-A.  Also, what about some of the barcodes that
are so
small the scanner will not recognize them?  We are currently working

Symbol DS6608 scanners.
