Carolyn, the Alerts in SCH allow you to put patient-specific notes in
scheduling, associated with that patient. Then, when the scheduler is
booking that patient, the notes pop up. They can be edited & deleted, of
course.

FYI, in 5.5, they've added a "Routines" button on the Enter Patient
Appointment screen that brings up a menu that includes Enter/Edit
Patient Alerts. Prior to that, you had to use the right-ctrl key to
bring up that Routines menu.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] SCHEDULING MODULE (SCH or CWS) MAGIC 5.4

Is there anyone out there who would care to share what they use the verb
strip option 'ALERTS'?

The description and information I requested from Meditech is basically
nothing so was hoping someone could share.
