I just completed reports that we are using for BMV and found that the 3
of 9 barcode is significantly wider than the 128. I also have SIZE=X in
the computed field attribute. This is working well for us. The
difference is the 3 of 9 will have Data Type of BAR.CODE and the 128
will have CODE.128.

Hope this helps.

You can make the barcode TALLER (but not wider) by simply creating a
second computed field for it and placing them directly on top of each
other on the label:

barcode1
barcode2

I am working with my NPR person to create new Pharmacy labels to include
bar codes for BMV.
We have purchased a Datamax 4208 M class printer.
We are testing a 3x1 continuous label, looking to go to a 3.5x1
continuous label.
We copied our existing NPR label (which printed on a microline printer)
and just added the bar code, adjusting for the # of lines/page.
However, the font on our new label is smaller vertically than our
existing label and the bar code is very small.
Can anyone tell me how to increase the size of the font as well as the
bar code size?
I am only 6months in IT from lab and would really appreciate any advice
you experienced folks can give me!
