We are seeing reports that start on the PHA machine with frags to LAB, OE etc taking LOTS LONGER since we updated to 5.5 (PHA is on a machine with MOX only). We DID get all the available DTSs just after the update to correct known problems at that time (good bye from order sets etc)
We have a report that (according to documentation) used to take maybe 1-15 minutes taking 2-3 HOURS We have more complex reports that start and end in other applications on other machines that have not been affected.. We almost had to dump the patient CDS seen during process orders because of the increased slowness. We rewrote the report more efficiently and over came this issue. In retrospect I wonder if we have had this issue all along. We will be rewriting reports where we can to make them more efficient.. but.. Is anyone else seen this and gotten any relief from Meditech?? Thanks in advance!!
