We have an increasing number of payers that require preauth for MRI's and CT's.
I'm looking for a way to make sure this auth is obtained, and the number
entered into the patient's account prior to the test being done. My OE
specialist says an Order Rule won't work because it would not consider the
patient's payer, but she's looking at developing a modifier-type CDS that will
do almost the same thing.
Anyone else have something that works for you?
