It can be done in canned text and written in the Normal sense so that the doc just has to document on whatever is NOT normal. He can pull in multiple data elements and queries that you set up for him, esign and it is done. It can be viewed in PCI under the NOTE section. We are in the process of launching this for our docs as well. Call me if you have any questions. It looks like a lot of the functionality you are talking about is there. Our physician would like to be able to print a SOAP note to use as his progress note (to place in the chart) that would give him an area to hand write the S, A and P and then have the O pull in 24 hours worth of Vital signs, I&O and labs and Radiology impressions. We have developed a NUR profile that will pull in those items, but it is not very pretty. Do we have to go to an NPR report? How would we pull in a Rad impression to an NPR report? Any ideas or comments are welcome and appreciated.
