I defined the printer as a regular remote printer with Fargo set as a driver
and TCPIP port 9100 (using an external print server) The npr report driving
the printer only has the TERMAL YES statement in the footnote. Nothing else.
The printer works and the network connection works,,,due to the fact that I
can install the printer in Windows, and print a testpage to it over the
network. This thing just has me up against the wall ;-)..
I have the correct fragment for the npr set up in PHA.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] {Spam?} Datamax I Class label printer for PHA

I am trying to set up 2 Datamax I class label printers for MED and IV in the
pharmacy. The labels are generated out of npr reports. There is no sign of
life when trying to send a job to any of the printers. I am aware of the
THERMAL YES in the footnote section of the npr. I know the printer is on the
network and working. Sending a Windows testpage to it, and it prints fine.
I am using the paralell port on the printer, hooked up to a printerserver on
the network. OPS printer setup is set to port 9100 and FARGO driver.
I heard somewhere that you have to insert LC commands in the NPR report in
order to get a Datamax to work at all. I don't know if this is the case or
not. Anyone else had this problem?
