We also have had this problem but we go into OPS and delete the job. We

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR - Record locks

Hi,

Are any other sites experiencing issues with locked records when using
BMV/eMAR? I believe it is most likely occurring after an abnormal
termination of the session. We have had a couple of episodes this week
and Meditech states that only they can unlock the record.

This is not a good situation - especially in the middle of the night. I
think there should be a way that the lock can be released by the
hospital IT staff to reduce the time it takes to get the issue fixed.

Has anyone else encountered this and if so - do you know if there have
been any requests out to Meditech to provide this functionality?

Thanks
Sue
