I think I've seen this question before, but not the reply:

For those of you using wireless scanners: Does the nurse carry one from
room to room, or is each scanner "restricted" to one PC?

If the nurse carries one from room to room, what happens if two nurses
are in two (nearby) rooms, each trying to document at the same time?

A second question for all BMV users:

Do you have to wake the patient up to scan the wrist band, when
administering IV meds (main line, IVPB, pushes, etc.)?  Has anyone found
an inexpensive scanner that reads barcodes and RFID (RFID for the
patient, and barcodes for the meds)?
