Lauren:
You can have the pain documentation in EMAR default into the NUR documentation (via query attributes) on the PHA and NUR screens. Since this clinical data is stored in ADM.PAT.ccdqr.response (like most all query responses-except OE ORD responses), you can use [EMAIL PROTECTED]"QUERY <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"QUERY> "] on either or both screens to pull PHA data to NUR and NUR data to PHA during med admin and or nur documentation (for Insulin admin, to document the blood sugar or vice versa, if you record the BS in NUR and it is high and then you go into EMAR to administer Insulin, default the latest BS results from NUR)...Prevents double documenting. It is a PHA NUR MAR type CDS and is attached on page 4 of the PHA Drug Dictionary on the NUR CDS field. The only drawback is that it must be added to all analgesics that are used for pain (from Tylenol to scheduled narcs). I just requested a list from our Pharmacy and they quickly provided a list for me. Initially there was a syntax error in the PHA NUR MAR that Meditech programming had to fix. Every time I would try to file my documentation, I would get kicked to Goodbye. Once it was repaired and loaded into TEST, I tested it and it works well. The only thing I will warn you about is that CDS type does not cross over to the NUR module. But you can see it in PCI under the Pain Assessment heading. Hope that helps, L.
